Help Us Move The Barn!
This summer we are going to move this historic barn six miles west to the Fort Shaw National Historic Site.
We would certainly welcome your contribution to the financing of this project.
Any contributions in excess of $200.00 will be rewarded with a Life Membership in the Sun River Valley Historical Society!

Your financial assistance, in any amount is greatly appreciated. All donations made to the Sun River Valley Historical Society are tax deductible. Please send you monetary donations to the address shown below.
Endowments
Tax deductible endowments are appreciated. You define whether you want the funds dedicated to upkeep and maintenance of historical buildings or specific sites, for historical research or general purpose of the Sun River Valley Historical Society.
Memorials
One-time tax deductible memorials in any amount are welcomed and accepted at any time. Simply send in the amount of your choice with a note saying who the memorial is for.
Note: When sending in memorials, please let us know the names and address of the donor and whom to notify of the memorial.
Historical items
Please get in touch with an officer or director (see below) if you wish to make a donation of a historical item to determine if it is feasible for the Society to accept the gift and to ensure proper handling and safe keeping. We accept large items when practicable, as well as historical records and small items which are placed in our archives in secure space provided at the The History Museum in Great Falls. We are so grateful for that space. Often times items from the archives are brought for display at our regular meetings.
Photographs
Old and current photos are welcome for current use in our newsletter, on Facebook, and our website or public posting or for archival purposes. All photos become the property of the Historical Society. If you wish to only make temporary loan, please have the photos digitized and provide documentation for Society use.
